AN EASY 1-2-3 Artwork Upload Guide
The print artwork you upload to us must, if possible, be supplied as a PDF file*.
It's part of the reason we keep our costs so amazingly low.
By following our simple 3 step Upload Guide,
you can be sure of an easy, quick and successful process to ordering your print.
STEP 1) CREATE YOUR DESIGN...
Your printed job will be full colour (CMYK), so you can use any colours or images (as long as they're not copyrighted to someone else) you wish in your design. Each of our products are suitable for single or double sided pages, so each artwork page can be designed as a single separate page (even for 2 sided items - just create 2 separate pages, 1 for each side) which makes things very simple.
These are the important sizes you need to know for each page size:
BUSINESS CARDS - 85mm x 54mm
(OR 91mm x 60mm including bleed. See below)
Landscape (Wide) or Portrait (Tall). It's a standard credit Card size, so it always fits easily in any wallet or card holder.
BLEED: If you want your design to go right off the edge of the printed job, you need to let it overlap the finished size by 3mm on each edge. This is called "bleed" and allows the printers to cut the finished print (of any size, not just cards) to the right size without showing any tiny white edges where there shouldn't be. See the diagram below for Business Card size but which also applies to all other sizes.

STEP 2) CONVERT YOUR DESIGN INTO A PDF FILE...
Once you are happy with your design, you need to convert it to a PDF file ready for upload.
PDF (Portable Document Format) is a universal format which can be read, printed and edited by anyone with a PC (or Mac). You can convert to PDF from within a lot of the applications you may be using to create your print design via 'export' and/or 'save as' commands. Also, if your PC has PDF capabilities already, you will find them when you select 'Print' - the print dialogue box may show a 'Save As PDF' or 'Save As' option somewhere within the print selection box.
If your application does NOT support PDF export, no problem! There are many simple to use, free software packages available to download, along with others for a very low cost and even some online PDF creation websites.
Here are a few we've found you that may work well for you**. We haven't put links to the software as they may go out of date, so just Google the software names below or do your own search to find the option that suits you the best.

* If you absolutely, positively cannot convert your artwork, or need other help with the creation of the original design, then contact us with the details and we will be able to do this for a small charge which we will quote to you before supply.
STEP 3) UPLOAD YOUR FINISHED PDF FILE(S)...
Once you have checked out with your order through our secure shopping cart, and clicked on the 'return to website' link, you will receive an automatic receipt confirmation email containing a link to upload your artwork files. You can upload multiple files one at a time, and will also then automatically receive a confirmation e-mail of your upload.
And that's it - your printed job will be delivered within the specified time!

The despatch time for all Digital Print is same day to 48 hours using Royal Mail 1st Class (dependant on time/day of artwork upload and parcel weight) resulting in a possible 24 hour delivery for some jobs.
All other print is despatched (by next day courier) within 5 working days LESS, (dependant on product type and time/day of artwork upload.
